celebrating conversations

at the airport, on the bus, at the bus stop, in the lift, on the phone, on the train,

... before sunrise

(but of course, how can you celebrate conversations with an essay?)

ps: appologies for the cryptic post, in case, it was cryptic for you.

I recently watched the movie, Before Sunrise, which... well, celebrates conversation.

Made me remember my conversations with random people I met at various places, and the pleasure of having a conversation with them.

I have been trying to somehow write about them, but then, I just couldn't. So this post is what I could manage.

Let me know what you thought about the post before you read the long and weary explanation..

I was just reminded of all the conversations that we had I was in Florida.

I think those could easily be celebrated.

Those, dearest bhai, are always celebrated. Weird thing is I dont remember much about what we talked about then (oh yes! except the 'head of kays' remember?), those conversations were all assimilated/absorbed so throughly that the memory of before is lost... I just remember a happy satisfied feeling when I remember them. :D

But you are no random person in my life, and in the post I was talking about random conversations at different places! One of which actually went on for 4 solid hours :) It was about changes in land use and land ownership in South Australia (topic of this person's thesis, and a topic I am very interested in) and food grain problem and farmer suicides in India. We of course went on to talk about Indian weddings! Everybody wants to know about those!! :))
