if it is a story you want

If you enjoy a story you can almost understand the point of life; all we want of a story is that it is interesting, not too repetitive and ends well.

If an interesting story is what you are after, I think you'll enjoy learning that my ex-husband, who I divorced more than a couple of years ago, was caught by the police cheating at the casino and it made it to the newspaper because either nobody does this or nobody gets caught doing this. The maximum punishment is 5years in jail. While I found out about this last night, the actual incident was nearly a year ago and I do not know what happened afterwards, considering that that did not make it to the news.

While I am very glad that it is not my problem anymore, I am a bit bemused about the fact that it ever was. While I understand people who make poor choices roam around wearing a similar skin as us, ours was not a match made in a passionate moment but something given due consideration with a warm heart and a cool head. Given that I am thanking the lord for his small mercies; I am wondering what the second guy I was dating is up to - I am not certain if I do or do not want to be convinced that my luck is better than my choices..
