it is going to be birthday season around here soon; and i know absolutely nobody else who loves birthdays as much as i do! i could almost squeal with delight just thinking about it - and being on 1st of July, I am reminded of it during the most serious of seminars - and it makes me think, quite perversely, what a headache my dearest birthday is to a lot of people!
i can't think of any good reason why i should so love a birthday, but i can't imagine how i have managed to read design blogs so long either. life is just fantastic now, and i feel so wise, it is unbelievable - in that sense, i can't wait to grow older and wiser. sometimes, i think, i have all that i need, and i am sure all that i will need will come - for the most important thing is love - and i am blessed with it! i have no doubt that i am loved, and i am so grateful for it. what is love - love is when you think of someone and you see 'them' - not what they look like, or what they like or not like, or nothing 'about' them, but 'them' - and your heart is delighted and you wish them all the joys and happiness the world has to offer. i love some people so much, and i am so grateful for all the love i get. (was that waaaaaay toooo much information?)
anyway, back to the birthday, we are having a mad hatters tea party! in spite of the fact that i love alice in wonderland, i haven't actually read the book - at least, not the way the white king would like it, `Begin at the beginning,' the King said gravely, `and go on till you come to the end: then stop.'* it is just so much fun randomly picking at it, and reading snippits - just look at this! (ok, maybe this :)
