Well, a few reasons: I was getting some tremors and I thought it might be because coffee; turned out it wasn't because of coffee but because I was skipping breakfast. But primarily because I was a little bit addicted to coffee, so I wanted to prove to myself that I could go without it. I wanted to win a small battle, I think :)
Strangely, the first week was the easiest, but somehow after that I would go past a cafe and always want one. I wasn't able to drink that whole cup, in the end tho. And, yes, it is nice to have the option of drinking coffee again, i still like it.
I think it was worth it.
How are you? Any plans to visit Australia in recent times? Have you read, The Monk and the Philosopher by Jean-Francois Revel and Matthieu Ricard? Any opinion?

why did you have a year without coffee? Was it worth it?
